CHALLENGE

Use a disruptive approach to communicate the mood and topics proposed during the first edition of FestivalFuturo, the annual event envisioned and produced by Altroconsumo, dedicated to the world of OIT and big data.

IDEA

Select a human-like robot named Reem as the exceptional spokesperson for the festival. This robot could move autonomously throughout the City of Milan and speak with passers-by about the festival’s main themes: consumer evolution, the relationship between the citizens and technology, what vacuum cleaners and washing machines will look like in the future. Reem was left to move freely from Piazza Duomo to Gae Aulenti, and around the Navigli and narrow streets of Brera. He did not go unnoticed and struck up passionate conversation with people, sometimes even speaking in Milanese dialect.
